WHEB Selects Sustainalytics as its ESG Research and Data Provider

Sustainalytics’ ESG research to be incorporated into WHEB’s range of investment management activities

London – Sustainalytics, a leading provider of environmental, social and governance (ESG) research and analysis, has been selected by London-based WHEB, an independent asset management firm specializing in sustainable investments, to provide a variety of ESG research and data solutions that will be integrated into the firm’s investment decision-making processes. Specifically, WHEB will incorporate Sustainalytics’ ESG research and data into its stock selection and portfolio management activities.

“Our sustainability strategy is built on active management supported by in-depth research that integrates financial analysis together with ESG insights,” said Seb Beloe, Partner at WHEB Asset Management. “Sustainalytics’ ESG research and data will help us to strengthen our decision-making processes and approach to company engagement so we can create greater long-term value for our clients. We are eager to work with the Sustainalytics’ team so we can make the most of their insights.”

WHEB believes businesses that successfully turn sustainability challenges into opportunities will access faster growing markets and gain a long-term competitive advantage. The firm focuses on four social and five environmental themes, including cleaner energy, resource efficiency, health, sustainable transport and water management, which forms the basis of its investment universe.

“WHEB’s expertise on sustainability issues and their credibility within the responsible investing industry is impressive,” said Sustainalytics’ Chief Executive Officer, Michael Jantzi. “To work with a firm where ESG factors are so deeply embedded into the investment process is a privilege. We look forward to supporting their team as they continue to advance their ESG integration process.”
