Founded in 1996, China Minsheng Banking Corporation is one of the first privately owned commercial banks in China, with its headquarters located in Beijing. The bank’s shares were listed on the Shanghai Exchange in 2000 and on the Hong Kong Exchange in 2009. CMBC focuses on serving non-state-owned enterprises, as well as micro and small businesses, in addition to high-end retail customers. The bank has a diverse shareholding structure and operates over 23,000 banking outlets across 125 cities in China.
